YS Falls

Enjoy a scenic ride from Montego Bay along Jamaica’s beautiful south coast through small towns and villages. YS falls features seven waterfalls, several of which cascade into natural pools. This is a nature-based attraction offering the opportunity to experience the beauty of the waterfalls surrounded by lush gardens and magnificent trees. The falls are located on a working cattle ranch and thorough-bred horse farm on the south coast. When you arrive you will board a jitney for a 10 minute ride to the falls, with a view of the mountains and horses grazing in lush fields. Upon arrival to the falls you will have options to go on a guided tour, jump off the falls, swing on ropes or just relax and swim in the cool refreshing water. There is a separate natural pool fed by underground and above ground springs which is great for children and non-swimmers.  Children when not swimming can also enjoy the playground. Snacks including burgers, hot dogs, fries and cold refreshments are available at YS Falls but for lunch we stop in Middle Quarters to sample some tasty Jamaican foods. Prepare yourself for curried river shrimp, stew pork, fried fish, curried mutton, peppered shrimp and crayfish, salt fish and shrimp fritters and crayfish soup.  For an additional charge, zip line from the top of the falls down to the base or take a 20 minute river tubing ride. On the way back to the hotel we can make another stop in Middle Quarters so you can grab a bag of crayfish to take back.
